Star City Safety Dispatch: SMS Terms

Program. Star City Safety Dispatch is a text messaging program operated by Star City Safety Inc, 1125 Delaware St, Salem, VA 24153, for its employees only.

What you'll receive. Work-related messages such as crew assignments, job-site locations and report times, schedule changes, weather and safety delays, emergency call-outs, and shift confirmations. Reply 10-4 to confirm an assignment. We do not send marketing or promotional messages.

How you join. Employees opt in by signing our SMS consent form, either on paper or electronically on our online text consent form (view the form). Consent is not a condition of employment. Once your consent is on file, you will get one text confirming you are signed up.

Message frequency. Varies based on your work schedule.

Cost. Message and data rates may apply. Star City Safety does not charge for these messages.

Opt out. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will get one confirmation and no more messages. To rejoin, reply START, or contact your supervisor or the office.

Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
